Heart of a Champion was founded in 1997 by a group of business leaders, professional athletes, and sports team owners with the mission of transforming the youth culture. Since then, the organization has impacted over 500,000 youth across America through life-skills and mentoring programs. These programs have produced significant measurable results including: reductions in bullying and violent behavior, reduced dropout rates, reduced drug and alcohol use, and increased graduation rates, increased college and career readiness, increased grade averages and boosted self esteem.

congressDue to this success, the organization have been recognized by the White House and its members have been invited to testify before congress.

Programs are currently deployed at more than 200 locations in 25 states at schools, after school outlets and juvenile facilities, and include:

» Heart of a Champion for Secondary school students
» Elevators for youth in after school outlets
» U-Turn for youth in the probation system and their parent/guardian
» A One Heart comprehensive transition and training program for youth offenders during pre and post release
